Mariella Taormina, owner of Mavena Designs, is an Interior Designer turned furniture artist specializing in custom furniture and finishes. After receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts from The School Of Visual Arts, Mariella worked in residential, commercial, and retail design/architectural firms in NYC before moving back to NJ where she worked in retail design and architecture. With a keen eye for design & architectural details, and an appreciation for preserving and restoring antiques and old furniture, Mariella can transform any outdated piece of Furniture to new life and purpose with a flair of style and décor.
